Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the web service "Impact Visualizer" (the "Service") provided by the operator ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you ("the User") are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to every relationship between us and the User concerning the use of the Service. Any individual policies or guidelines we publish within the Service form part of these Terms.
2. Account registration
The User shall register with accurate and current information. The User is responsible for safeguarding their email address and password, and may not allow a third party to use, lend, or transfer them. We may suspend or delete an account if the registered information is found to be false.
3. Plans and advertising
The Service offers a free plan that displays advertising and a paid plan that does not. The free plan is subject to limits on the number of AI analysis runs, the number of projects and plans that may be created, the number of exports, and the availability of certain features. The specific values of these limits are published within the Service and may be changed by us with prior notice.
4. Prohibited conduct
When using the Service, the User must not: violate any law or public order and morals; infringe the rights of us or any third party; interfere with the operation of the Service; gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access; place excessive load on the Service through automated means; redistribute data obtained from the Service without permission; or fraudulently click on or inflate impressions of advertisements.
5. User data
Rights in the project data entered into the Service by the User remain with the User. We use such data to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. Where we use it to produce statistics or benchmarks, we do so only after processing it so that no individual or specific project can be identified.
6. Nature of AI-generated results
Predictions, analyses, and recommended actions provided by the Service are estimates produced by statistical models and generative AI. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. If the User relies on them for investment decisions, grant applications, or other material decisions, the User is responsible for independently verifying the content.
7. Changes, suspension, and termination of the Service
We may change the content of the Service, or suspend or terminate it, without prior notice to the User. We are not liable for any damage suffered by the User as a result.
8. Disclaimer
We do not warrant that the Service is free from defects in fact or in law. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage arising from the Service. Where the Japanese Consumer Contract Act applies, our liability is limited to the amount paid to us by the User in the month in which the damage occurred.
9. Account deletion
The User may delete their account at any time from the account settings screen. The handling of data after deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Amendments
We may amend these Terms where we deem it necessary. For material changes, we will give advance notice of the changes and their effective date by posting within the Service or by email.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office as the court of first instance.
